Christmas Day

Life has been a little crazy since Christmas, but I wanted to get a few pictures on here of our fun Christmas day. You can tell from these pictures who the star of the day was -  our nephew Brady. He's getting so big and is so much fun.

Stockings, and slinky fun!

Brady got a new chainsaw from Grammy and Grampy. He was cutting down the Christmas tree and lots of other things. You can see my dad holding the computer in this picture with Toby on Skype. We were all bummed that he couldn't come home, but we're thankful for Skype, which is becoming more important to our family all the time as we spread out over the World.

We are so thankful for our family, and that we could be with them this Christmas. It was bittersweet as we thought about it being our last Christmas in the States for a while.

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve service at church. I (Charissa) got to read the children's story, which was really fun.

These are our good friends Kyle and Melody Thibodeau. Melody and I have taken a picture in this sleigh on Christmas Eve every year for a long time, and this was the first year we both had handsome husbands accompanying us:) This might be the last time we get to do this for a while, since Kyle and Mel are leaving soon to teach English in Korea.

We had clam chowder for dinner - a great family tradition.
