Chicago Trip

Jeremy's friend Caleb Slayton got married on the 15th of Dec. in Chicago, so we took a quick trip up there to be at the wedding. Caleb is a friend from Rift Valley Academy, and a bunch of their classmates were there.
Congratulations Caleb and Roxy!

Our friend form Liberty, Jake Pelfrey, lives in Chicago, so we stayed with him for a couple nights and he took us into downtown Chicago. It was so much fun but soooooooo cold.

Thanks Jake! We had a blast.

Boarding at Crested Butte

We took a trip to beautiful Crested Butte, CO to do some snowboarding. We went with our friend Jeremy Fowler whose wife, Kelly, was supposed to meet us up there but a huge snow storm moved through SouthWest Colorado and dumped 3 ft of snow! Great for boarding, not so great for driving. We had a blast.

Two Years of Wedded Bliss!

"How beautiful, then, the marriage of two Christians, two who are one in home, one in desire, one in the way of life they follow, one in the religion they practice. . . Nothing divides them either in flesh or in spirit. . . They pray together, they worship together, they fast together; instructing one another, encouraging one another, strengthening one another. Side by side they visit God's church and partake God's banquet, side by side they face difficulties and persecution, share their consolations. They have no secrets from one another; they never shun each other's company; they never bring sorrow to each other's hearts. . . Seeing this Christ rejoices. To such as these He gives His peace. Where there are two together, there also He is present." -Tertullian

Our Trip to Washington

Jeremy's job at WorldVenture sent him to the Creation West festival to do some recruiting. It worked out so well because that is where a lot of Charissa's family lives, including her two great grandma's who are both 95! Jeremy got to meet them for the first time which was so special. Charissa's mom came with us, and she stayed with her mom while we went to the festival for four days, then we spent a few days with grandma Barbara, Aunt Sandy, Uncle Bob, Elena, and 2yr old Chip! We missed you Ben! Hope camp went well! We rode a ferry and went to Pike Place market which is so cool. It was a great trip.
